ANNAPOLIS, Md. (September 25, 2009) – Brown Contracting completed modifications all eighteen VEIP Emissions Stations throughout Maryland.

The Emissions Stations were updated to receive new emissions testing technology including removal and recycling of existing equipment, concrete modifications, and new steel components. The entire project was completed in forty days with three crews working concurrently. As a result the project was finished more than two weeks ahead of schedule with minimal impact to the testing facilities.

Brown Contracting also finished a 9,500 square foot design-build tenant fit-out for the Emissions Department immediately before start of the station renovations.
